Rose of the Day

Their unmatched beauty and delicacy make them one of my favorite photo subjects. Their fragrance adds to the enjoyment of taking their pictures. Many of the roses you will see in this blog were grown by my sister Olga in her garden, some were grown in my garden. Growing roses in Maryland is a hard task -- too many pests and diseases are after them. I am going to post one of my favorite rose photos every day and create a Rose of the Day Gallery, my images will go into "Rose Flower Photography" category. Olga will be adding her rose photos into "Growing Roses" category. Hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!
